Feeding the Hungry Program

Feeding the Hungry Program

Most people think that if students can afford to go to college, they must have sufficient income. And yet, many university students are barely making it. Many barely have enough money for tuition, books, and a place to live.  The truth is that even now many students are food insecure – they do not have enough money to pay for nutritious meals needed to nourish them as they gain an education.

Want to help?

University Christian Ministries (UCM) offers a free lunch program on Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters. This is available to any University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) student seeking a nutritious meal. Your contribution can make a difference in the lives of students struggling financially to gain an education.

This outreach program runs $25,000 annually.
